California Fig Super Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups chopped fresh California figs (about 4 figs)
  • 1 seedless navel orange, peeled and pulled into a few sections
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 2/3 cup 1 percent milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup ice

Procedure

Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. 

Pour into glasses and serve immediately. 

Makes two 16-ounce smoothies.
